ADANTA performers and choreographers are all trained professionals with an average of 15 years stage experience. Most of the dancers and musicians developed their skill from an early age, performing with traditional dance groups in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. Two members of the group hold degrees in theatre arts and are very influential in developing artistic concepts and ideas for the group.

Constantly evolving, ADANTA have created works that have been performed in theatres and festivals across the globe; including performances in Atlanta GA, Dubai, UAE Stavanger, Norway, Guernsey, Channel Island and major cities in the UK. The group have developed and performed four theatre productions to date, The Land of a Thousand Dances 2001, ‘Alankwa’ in 2003 ‘Egumba’ in 2004 and ‘IJUWA’ in 2007. The group’s opening performance as part of the All Africa Stars 08 gala celebration at Theatre Royal, Stratford East in London is followed by the performance tours in Stavanga, Norway, Guernsey. Other performances in Ghana, Athens, Greece and Italy are being proposed.

ADANTA performs on invitation, both locally and abroad. Throughout the year, ADANTA sets up workshops within the inner and outer London area. In fact, ADANTA have made numerous television appearances both in the UK and the United Arab Emirates, including appearances on C4's "Paul O'Grady Show", "Stealing Lives" (feature film for C4), OBE, BENTV and other satellite channels. The company has also enjoyed publicity from the Times Newspaper, The Guardian, African Voice and numerous local newspapers and magazines.

ADANTA, through its community work, have used dance, music and drama workshops to engage people in the inner cities of London both in schools and in community settings. The activities for the community program range from using music and dance to create pathway to employment, healthy lifestyle program for adults, healthy lifestyle program (outreach) for over-60s, using performing arts as a way of diverting young people from criminal activities, student enrichment programs for schools, colleges, and universities.
